DAY 1
OREGON looks so beautiful from the air, looking at the breath-taking mountains and landscapes just is mesmerizing. So, day 1 I got lost for 5 minutes in the airport in Portland. Thank god I could call my friend and ask her where to get my luggage. The hostel we live in isn't too bad, the toilet is nice, the staff are friendly, the room is clean but... the towel looks like it has been used by 1000 people an washed a million times, the blanket provided is a bit gross, itchy and has other people's hair sticking onto it...eeeww, well this is how poor people live, save as much as possible.
So then we went shopping in the "largest mall in Portland" and boy was I so very disappointed. I had high expectations for Portland, at the very least for the shopping. Firstly, the mall has only 2 floors with the 3rd floor occupied by the cinema and food court. I watched AVATAR (again because it was so darn good) at the cinema but this time 2D and trust me, 3D rocks much more. So, Montana was a better shopping place at least for me like places in Ross, Macy or TJmax because my size is still available. The small section or 28-29 waist jeans still existed back in Montana but in Portland... it is so hard to find my size so I partly gave up. Nevertheless, tomorrow shopping round 2 begins and I'll go search my shoe until I get it, that is a priority.
PS: My enthusiasm for Portland is gone, not the place I would want to live and I feel that it is so much colder than Montana because it is damp cold.
